How it works

bira direct uses the combined purchasing power of over 7,500 bira members to negotiate better buying terms for the independent retail members of bira across the UK.

The system is straightforward:

1. The retail member places their order directly with the supplier;
2. The supplier delivers the products to the retail member;
3. The supplier sends the invoice to bira direct;
4. bira direct invoices the retail member;
5. bira direct pays the supplier at the end of the month following invoice date, less the agreed settlement discount, irrespective of whether or not the member has paid us.
6. The retail member pays bira direct.

It’s that simple.
